SOME HELPFUL TIPS

Friday 15 September 2006

1. It is a bad idea to wear a white shirt when it is absolutely chucking it down. This will result in many beeps from vans.

2. Finally going to bed at 3am when you have work the next day isn't good. this results in you being really tired even if you do have a smile on your face.

Man, two weeks today. To say I'm excited is such an understatement. I'm so excited about meeting loads of new people. The diary is starting to fill with lunch dates, drinks and coffee with a special someone!

Ha ha ha ha. Hey all I did was type in 'I was saving the best until last my dear Welsh friend' into an English to Welsh translator!

Let me try again.

*clears throat and adopts Yoda voice*

Mmmm saving best til last Welsh friend I was Mmmmm.

better?

Yes.

I don't trust english/welsh translators as far as I could kick them. The council uses them. One famous instance was that "cyclists dismount" came back as "prostitutes have a bladder infection".

Any language that can convert "prostitutes have a bladder infection" into 2 words, and (even better) "Llandda", which is the worst welsh swear word (literally translating as "Somebody who breaks into their own house, rapes their sister and shits on their floor"), is a hell of a language by my book.
