PRIVACY
Friday 15 September 2006
There are so many blogs out there now and they range from people wanting to stay anonymous to people who are open and aren't afraid of their identities being known.
I fall into the latter catergory. I don't care who reads my blog as I don't tend to talk about work or my inner most feelings. Occasionally I will open up like my post the other day but it's nothing that I'm ashamed about. I'm dealing with my feelings well and I'm proud that I don't stick my head in the sand and blame others for the way I feel, if I need to talk to someone about the way i feel and what I'm thinking I'm not afraid to do so.
Anyhoo this is all coming from the fact that I'm emailing my mum at the moment. My mum reads my blog and I'm fine with it. In fact it saves a few phone calls at times!!! I was talking to her about a couple of other bloggers and it's so funny that she knows who I'm on about.
My mum kicks arse!

Ahhhhh that would be telling.
Luckily for me blogging has only led to me meeting great people.
No stalkers just yet...gutted.
Stalkers are NOT good! They're evil! She travelled down to wales from pissing glasgow just to meet me! Who'd travel the length of the country just to meet somebody?
Posted by: Rhys at September 15, 2006 04:52 AMIs it here that i point out that you were going to go to Amsterdam for your holiday until i mentioned London?!
Hee hee hee hee.
Posted by: Celeste at September 15, 2006 04:55 AM:P
No, it's............terrorism!
Yes, that massive fatwa against Amsterdam turned me off it.
Posted by: Rhys at September 15, 2006 04:56 AMyeah Yeah yeah. I think it's lovely that you're coming down - I'm still not showing you my nipples! ;-D
Posted by: Celeste at September 15, 2006 05:00 AMDid I say I wanted to see your nipples! I appreciate your intelligent and witty company. Also, you're not the only person in London that I know! Like the whole structure of my holiday is going to be "Meet Celeste", all of a sudden.
I've never been before, you're behind big ben, london eye, picadilly circus and other things in London.
Nipples indeed.
Posted by: Rhys at September 15, 2006 05:03 AMIntelligent and witty. Ha ha ha very good.
I think you'll find Rhys that i would prefer it if Big Ben was behind me...
*skips off to find a guys called Ben who is 'big'*

I'm an anonymous blogger and I don't really know why. It's just always been that way.
It's not that I wouldn't say any of the things I say on the blog to my friends and family, because I would and I do, but they do not know about the blog. And somehow it seems that telling them now would be weird, because they'd wonder why I hadn't told them before, if you see what I mean...
I also don't want anyone at work to find it. Not that I talk about work, but I do talk about my desire to get away from corporate life and become self-employed, which they could take a dim view of.
Posted by: anxious at September 15, 2006 09:18 AMYup I agree. i was in no way bashing anonymous blogs. Each to their own. i was just emailing my mum and thought it was funny that i mentioned a post on someone else's blog and she knew what i was going on about.
Posted by: Celeste at September 15, 2006 09:24 AMs'okay, hon
I knew you weren't bashing
I was just thinking out loud about why I'm anonymous...
Posted by: anxious at September 15, 2006 09:49 AMWell feel free to. Mi commentas es su commentas...ahem.
Posted by: Celeste at September 15, 2006 10:07 AMMy family and work colleagues as far as I am aware don't know about my blog. But I don't activly try and keep it secret. And of course I am not anonymous to manyof my readers as they know me and have met me...
Posted by: Mark at September 15, 2006 10:57 AMI'm definately an anonymous blogger, but thats as part of my reason to blog is to talk about the workings of work. It would be a bad career move to be found out!
Posted by: TheBoy at September 15, 2006 12:36 PMi was anonymous; blogmother suggested it because i'm young. and naive / inexperienced. and she didn't want me stalked. which is pretty good from a woman i've never met. granted, now i don't blog, so it doesn't matter much..

Question is, who's blogs (other than this one) does your mum read?!?!
I'm so very, very intreagued.
Oh, and I fall into this category. Last few days I've been linked by Colwyn Bay Football Club, and the message board has turned into a "Rhys Wynne Appreciataion Society"! It's nice, but I'd like to find out about the team, rather than myself. :)
Saves a lot of problems, though I did have a stalker on myspace who spent a day reading my entire blog and picking up on any continuation errors. She was blocked pretty swiftly.
