EXCITEMENT

I am so excited about my weekend.
Tonight I am hitting the town with my partner in cime Mel. We always have a good time when we go out and this time we will not be dragged to Ocean Village where all the men are old. I believe there will be much drinking and boogie-ing.
Tomorrow Mel* and I will be shopping. I cannot wait to go shopping. I'm not going crazy though as I'm losing loads of weight and don't want to buy things that fit me now only to get rid of them in 2 weeks. I have a list and I'm sticking to it. I'm in the midst of reinventing myself you see. I have thrown out the dowdy, frumpy clothes I own (including 2 pairs of jogging bottoms and 3 nighties) and I'm also getting my hair done. I really want to go for a dramatic change and dye it dark brown but Mel won't let me (I have to listen to her she's my back up if i'm not married by 30 - also she packs a punch..) so I'll be going blonder. I've also chucked away most of my underwear - I have a ritual I go through when relationships end - I buy new bedding and new underwear. I suppose I just feel as though bedding and underwear represent closeness as the only person to see my underwear and bedding was of course the person I was involved with. Leave me alone - it's just something I do!
Sunday my mum and sisters are coming down and I just can't wait to see them. I haven't been able to see them for a month now and I miss them so much. They've really been so supportive and wonderful throughout this shitty period.
Roll on 5pm!
*It's healthy to spend this amount of time with Mel isn't it? It's not like we live together..oh wait..we do! Eeep I fancy Mel! ;-D
