TICK TOCK
Monday 4 September 2006
So I have 3 weeks and 4 days to go until I move to London.
It's fair to say I am bricking it a fair bit but in between my 'everything will go wrong - I will end up homeless and have to resort to prostitution' freak outs I am actually very excited about it all. If it wasn't for people who I care about being so supportive and telling me how great this will be for me I think I would've had a nervous breakdown.
I'm really hoping to meet some great people and I'm sure I will. I've already started to ring agencies to let them know that I will be looking for permanent work in 3 and a half weeks and am happy to temp until the right job crops up.
I just really can't wait to leave Southampton. I want to be away from memories that I can't look back on happily just yet because it all still hurts so much. Quite pathetic really but you have not seen the state of men in Southampton. They will not take your mind off things at all. In fact I'd sooner snog Gollum than a bloke down here *shivers*.
I can't believe it's all really happening.

Geyvid - translation please? It better not mean 'Celeste give me a nipple lick' we've been there before!!! ;-)

How on earth do you not know that? It's the prologue from LoTR. For shame.
Posted by: Geyvid at September 5, 2006 03:44 AMI don't speak Elvish! Of course I know that it's the prologue now you've told me in English!
I'm illllllllllllllll.

Know it sounds bad, but temping can (I say can) lead to friends. When I worked in the call centre, I met tons of new people, some of which I'm still very close to :)
This is a good idea, and I wished I had Chuck Norris-sized cahonjies to do something similar. Good luck!
Oh, and how are the Southampton (Native) women? If the men are as minging as you say they are, I've got a decent chance of pulling :)
