YUCK
Friday 1 September 2006
I hate doing what I did today.
But today marks 4 weeks exactly until my big change and in order to do this big change I have had to hand in my notice here at work. I really like my job and i love the people I work with but it's a case of right job wrong time.
For you see internet folks I have decided to say 'Fuck it' to the world and move to London. I've wanted to move to London for ages it just so happens that I put a relationship before my own feelings and moved to Shithampton. Some may say I've gone stark raving mad as I'll be staying in a hostel with nothing more than a suitcase of clothes to my name, will be temping and attempting to find another job! I have however thought this through carefully (my sensible self wouldn't have it any other way) and I have spoken to people that I trust enourmously to tell me whether I'm being an idiot or not. I am truly amazed at the support I have gotten from these five people. My mum, Mel, Geyv, Rad and Silk have been so amazing and I love them to pieces.
I'm just miserable here in Southampton. I don't like the place and I have nothing to stay for. I was only ever here because I wanted to be closer to Tilesey and now we aren't together anymore what's the point in me staying somewhere I'm miserable? I just have nothing to lose because I've lost it all.
I can't tell you how excited I am to be doing this. I'm staying in a really nice hostel (it's been checked out) and I really can't wait to try out the jacuzzi with my new best friends Steve O from Australia and Graeme from South Africa meet new and interesting people. I also love the challenge of only having a suitcase of stuff to my name (it's ok my precious things are going into storage) so I'm going to be simplifying my life.....I am shitting myself quite a bit though.
So that's the big news - see told you it wasn't that exciting.

Brave girl
Go for it!
Good for you. The smoke does not always equate to happiness, but its a place of full life, and that can't be a bad thing.
Posted by: TheBoy at September 1, 2006 11:20 AMNow THAT is a plan.
Posted by: Greavsie at September 1, 2006 12:03 PMI told Silk we should've got that jacuzzi installed. That's why you're not moving up north, isn't it?
If anyone's gonna pull this off, it'll be you ;o)
Posted by: Nugget at September 1, 2006 12:29 PM(Rhys, the hostel I'm staying in has a jacuzzi - it's why i picked it!)
Anxious - Thank you hun. X
Boy - I know it may not equate to happiness but it's something I need to do while I'm young! Don't want to regret anything if I ever settle down and have sprogs!
Greavsie - *pauses for a sec - star struck* Thanks. I think it is a good plan and although I'm quite terrified I'm very excited!
Nugget - If you weren't taken I'd love you! Do not fear - Silk has already promised that if London all goes tits up I'm moving ooop north to have 3 in a bed sessions with you and the lady! Hee hee!

Bah, knew about it ages ago :)
Joking aside, good luck! I wouldn't be able to fix my life in a suitcase. And if you find any jacuzzis in a hostel, let me know. Need to find a Sheild from South Africa and a Ashley from Australia to share it with!
