The internet has been very generous to me. I decided that I was going to clear out my email inbox as I like to be organised and even though gmail gives you loads of cyber space I still don't see the point of hanging onto obsolete emails. This took me on a trip down memory lane. I discovered a photo of Tilesey and I all dolled up for our first ever Valentines day, various images I've used for past blogs and then a photo which reminded me of my fantastic birthday last year and of a very special person who I met through blogging. We don't talk as much as we could or should - life sometimes just gets in the way but I know that she'll always be there for me and I hope she knows the same of me. You very rarely meet and befriend someone who is generous, thoughtful and funny. If you do there seems to always be a catch. I'm not denying there is no catch, as there is, this person lives in a far off land. It's filled with many stupid people who try and defy her club entry rules and wear big hats eh maybe that's not really a catch catch. Maybe more of a catchette.
Anyway, this person means a lot to me and has not only brought a special pink elephant named Penelope into my life but thanks to her I also have my own star so my great, great, great grandchildren will be able to live there....
Who am I talking about? It could only be the one and only Silk.
This was taken at a theme park that we went to for my 21st birthday last year. I'm not sure why I look so dorky but hey life goes on!
